5th Annual Charity Hold'em Tournament

Win your way to the 2022 World Series of Poker Main Event in Las Vegas while also doing some good! Our 5th Annual Charity Fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 26, 2022.

The event will run using World Series of Poker Main Event rules with minor slight modifications to conform to the history and friendliness of this event. Players will be allowed to rebuy and add on (details below). Each player will also get 60 seconds to act upon their hand before their hand is declared dead.

Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent of the law according to The Federal Tax Code 501(c)3 as The 3 Up 3 Down Organization is a non-profit charitable organization. 100% of the donations of this event will go directly to supporting and promoting youth baseball and those with developmental disabilities. You will receive a tax letter by year’s end in the year you registered for this event.

Schedule
9:00AM – Check-in, registration opens, continental breakfast
10:30AM – Cards in the air, play begins
1:00PM – Lunch Break, Barbecue Lunch
2:15PM – Play Resumes

Lunch – Smoking J’s BBQ is back! For those that were here last year, get pumped up! For those that weren’t, well, you’re in for a treat! Included with your entry. $40 for non-tournament guests. Estimated lunch break 1:00 PM – 2:15 PM

Raffles – we had about 30 raffled and silent auction items in 2021 and expect many for our 2021 event. We’re currently looking for donated items through February 2022 (thank you), and looking to add to past great donated items…

Tournament Details – The maximum amount any player may start with is 7,000 chips. Players may re-buy if they ever drop below 7,000 chips (6,975 or less) for $150 (6,000 chips) or may do a double re-buy for $275 if ever below 1,000 chips (975 or less), for 12,000 chips.

Rebuy – $150 for 6,000 chips, double rebuy $275 for 12,000 chips
Add-On – $150 for 10,000 additional chips or $200 for 15,000 additional chips

Guest Appearances – we’re fortunate to welcome former New York Yankees and World Championship player: Jim Leyritz that morning – Jim wasn’t able to make our last event in 2021, but has confirmed, he’ll be there in March. Come play with a world champion!  We are also in contact with a few high profile Poker Professionals and hopeful their schedule allows their attendance.
